Applied Typography:
Hump Film Festival

For my Typography II course, we were asked to design an event identity for a large conference, music, or film festival. I decided to create an event and type treatment for Dan Savage’s Hump Film Festival, an all-inclusive adult film festival focused on short-format, low-budget, amateur submissions. To set it aside from stereotypical conventions, I looked at the Golden Era of erotica in the 1970s for typographic and visual inspiration, culminating in an ambiguous, yet alluring package of deliverables.
